Sick

Hallee started getting sick last Thursday, she told us that her throat hurt, then immediately after that she had a fever, Friday was the same way, Saturday I noticed that she had a rash on her neck and chest. I decided it was time to look at her throat, sure enough those tonsils were nasty- huge, red, with white streaks, we took her into Community Care and it came back positive that she had Strep Throat.

Blyss has had a cough, she'll cough so much she'll throw up, and she will not sleep either because everytime she lays down she starts coughing and then throws up and we have a mess to clean up. I can't wait for these girls to feel better, because they are sure cranky, demanding, and complain alot when they are sick!! Plus we finally have some nice weather outside, YEAH! I have been taking them for stroller rides to get some fresh air.

Blyss did get her hair cut yesterday, her bangs are no longer in her eyes! But getting her hair cut was an adventure, she screamed and cried, saying that it hurts. Finally she laid her head down on my chest so the girl was able to cut oneside then the other side.

While the girls have been sick I have been sewing a new little dress for Blyss, since that is all she will wear, but today she is in pants, I couldn't believe she let me put them on her.

Bear World

This past weekend we made a quick trip to Idaho, on Saturday we thought it would be fun to take the girls to see the baby bears at Bear World. In order to see the baby bears, you had to buy a $15 picture. I thought it was a rip off, and wanted to go, Hallee started crying Zak gave in so the girls got to get a picture with the baby bear and pet it for about 1 minute. Hallee loves her picture with the baby bear though, she is very proud of it. And Blyss had a great time hugging on the baby bear.

Dresses!

Our little Blyss is into dresses now, all she will wear is a dress, getting pajamas on at night is almost impossible, she wants to keep her dress on so bad, because she wants to be a princess. This has been going on for an entire week now, she will scream if I pull out pants for her to wear. She likes to pick out her own dresses, and she changes dresses 4 or more times a day. She still likes to wear her cowboy boots though, so anywhere we go she has a dress on and cowboy boots. We think it is cute right know, but sure hope it will kind of fade out a little.

This day she let me curl her hair, she looked like a little beauty queen. She likes to look pretty, but does not like to get her picture taken.

Good Day For a Picnic

Today I decided we needed to do something different. So I thought Hallee and Blyss would love a picnic. I told Hallee my idea, and she had everything set up at 10:30, she was so excited, she kept asking me when we could have our picnic. So finally lunch time came and we made up our lunch and we had our picnic in Hallee and Blyss' room. It was fun, I think we might try to do it once a week and have picnic's in different rooms of the house.

Princess

Our house is definately run by little princesses. Blyss wears her princess gear all day long, sometimes even to bed. I get a kick out of seeing my girls in crowns and high heels, but at the same time love to play in dirt, with worms, and they could gross out a boy any day- which makes their dad so proud.

I got this Snow White Out fit at King's for $12, it came with the dress, shoes, crown, and purse.

I got this princess dress at Family Dollar- $5.00 the high heel shoes- $3.00

Hallee likes to set out all her princess stuff everyday, she will also get Blyss' princess outfit ready, she picks out the dress, the crown, the necklace, the bracelet, the shoes, the purse, and the dress for Blyss to wear.

Happy Valentines!

We finally got some good snowman snow, so Zak and Hallee made a snowman. The poor snowman died after one day (he fell over).

While I'm cleaning I try to have something for Hallee and Blyss to do to keep them occupied so I can get my work done. Maybe having Blyss watercolor was not the best idea though.

Byss painted her hands, spilled the cup of water, and had laid in the water. Instead of painting the paper she painted my countertops- good thing it all cleans up easily. Thats how Blyss' pants usually look on her since she is so skinny.

Hallee's hair. I thought it turned out pretty good. It was her Valentine's party for preschool. So of course she had to wear her heart shirt and I did the heart in her hair. She came home from preschool, she was so excited that she had so many treats, I didn't realize the thing to do for Valentines Day was to tape a treat to the card, whoops- we just gave cards, but the cards did have stickers with it. Now I'll know for now on to attatch treats to the card!

Look who is 2

Blyss had her 2nd birthday last week. Time sure has flown by, I can't believe that my baby is 2 years old. Blyss sure is a joy to us, here are a few things about her: she likes to talk, be a princess, play and do whatever her sister is doing, Blyss likes to sing, dance, cuddle, likes her jewlery, she is kind of bossy- likes things her way, she loves to watch Barbie movies and Shrek, she loves animals, she is very loving to babies and animals(she always wants to give hugs and kisses), she is very good at cleaning up her toys, and she can sure make us laugh alot. Blyss has lived in 3 different states, 4 different homes, and has had 12 haircuts.


For Blyss' birthday, Hallee, Blyss and I went to celebrate in Idaho, because Zak was gone to Seattle for a meeting. I made Blyss a princess cake, and she got a princess outfit that she wears all the time, it came with the high heels and she loves to wear those too, Hallee likes them as well, so we had to go get her own pair. We had a little party at my parents house, with great grandma Bazil, my parents, Chase, Nick, and Hailey.

Then on Saturday Zak came up to Idaho and we celebrated Blyss' birthday with Zak's family, we went to Green Canyon and swam, Blyss really likes to play in the water. On Sunday we went to Victor where are nephew, Rhett was blessed, he also has red hair, so we'll see if it stays red.

We had a great time in Idaho hanging out with family, shopping(Any time I go, I have to go to Traditions- in Rigby, my favorite store), visiting, and playing. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us stay with you!
