Dinner Time

So on this particular day Zak has been gone a whole week- 7 days and 2 more to go by myself- I am tired... okay exhuasted...because we have had a lot more going on with this whole house selling bussiness besides taking caring of everything else. Hallee asks Blyss, "Do you know how to spell earth?" Blyss replis, "Yes, 'RF'." Hallee bursts out laughing. Blyss reply is, "I bet you don't know how to spell my." Hallee of course spells it and says how easy that was. Then the tears come from Blyss- I tell them just to eat. Meanwhile Sicaly is sitting next to me, eating straight sourcream, putting a knife in the sourcream then putting it in her mouth and that is all she eats for dinner that night and I don't care! This night I just had to step back, kind of enjoy it, and laugh(I was to exhausted to do anything else) because I have realized I can't force them to eat so it is not going to do any good to get mad! This is usually how dinnertime goes- lots of talking, sometimes tears, and pretty much no eating! Gotta love dinnertime!

Easter 2013

Easter this year started early at our house since we have 9:00am church and we still made it to church on time! The girls were so giddy for their Easter Egg Hunt which I think took them about 3 minutes to find all the eggs. Hallee and Blyss each got new dresses and all 3 girls got an activity book for church from the Easter Bunny. A week before Easter we had a Family Home Evening on the Resurrection, this year Hallee and Blyss understood more and it was fun to talk to them about the true meaning of Easter. I am so grateful for our Savior and his love for us and his willingness to die for us and made it possible or us to have eternal families and I am so grateful for that knowledge I have. We had a fun Easter and later in the day for dinner we had our good friends and neighbors the Hulse's over for some yummy food and the kids all had fun together, then we watched the Gaurdians with the projector out in the garage. It was a great Easter.
